Fertilizer and nutrient trends in Australia

A summary of the presentation given to La Trobe University Department of Agriculture staff and post-graduate students by Dr Norton, Regional Director ANZ for IPNI.

This presentation gives a summary of data on P, K and S balances on a state by state basis for Australia, plus some interpretation of soil test levels related to those nutrients. It also provides an overview of a grain nutrient content assessment undertaken showing the variation in nutrient content due to region, cultivar and year.
